Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon Discussion

Post by KiDasharus on Tue Feb 12, 2013 12:28 pm

Will you be picking this up on launch day? I think I will. The numerous previews of it and videos have all made me hype this even more, more recently the Multiplayer and Nintendo Force previews were bery interesting. Feel free to post your thoughts on this!

I originally didn't give this game much thought, because I knew my bros already planned on picking it up. However, it has grown more appealing to me. I'm still not sure if I'll get it or not. Question

This will probably go on my Holiday wishlist, or Birthday. I can wait, but it looks fun. :3

My sister's getting it on launch, this being one of the reasons she got a 3DS. I've beaten the original too many times to count (Although TTYD still holds my prize for the most playthroughs), and this one is looking okay. I just hope they keep the things that made the series great- a ton of rooms with exploration to match (Anyone remember the secret rooms?), unique characters, and a good style that would be expected from Nintendo.

Whatever they do, I hope there is no Mario. I'm getting sick of him, and it is the year of Luigi! :3
Oh, and DLC mansions plz. Very Happy (Because whenever DLC is released there is usually a free one Razz )

I'll attempt to grab it on launch day, and I'll keep my fingers crossed my Gamestop doesn't sell my copy ahead of time again. Evil or Very Mad

How many mansions do you hope to see? Assuming they are the same size I'd hope to see 4. It will probably be 3, but 4 would be nice. Then we could play for 8 hours instead of the original 2. Razz

Well that's a spot of flawed logic right there. Assuming that the mansions will be as long as the original game in it's entirety is rather silly. But I'm guessing 8 mansions, because Ninty seems to be going the world route with this one. tongue

I'm definitely getting this next week. Very Happy
If anyone hasn't seen it, look up the next Nintendo Force cover.
I won't post it, for spoiler reasons, but it looks amazing.

Sad I don't want this game.
...

What? The worst that can happen to me is that I'm banned here, and I'm forced to wait out my long ban until you guys stop playing LMDM, AC NintyLife version and FEA, and remember you banned me. Sad

Just like I'm not responsible for breaking them if I get sucked up, a-la Toad style. These fists of mine can do some serious damage.

I might pick this up when I get the cash. I only have around~65 dollars left... Hey, that's a lot, isn't it? It was originally 175, though... Damnit, I'm gonna need to sell some of my stuff or something to feed my obsession with gaming.

Re: Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon Discussion

@Prof I have a 16 GB, it started out around 130 thousand blocks, and I currently have roughly 70 thousand blocks left. I have a lot of demo's, videos, about 2000 blocks worth of Colors! 3D data, many eShop downloads, about 5 retail downloads, such as Fire Emblem Awakening(8700), NSMB2(2000), Bit Trip SAGA(1500), Unchained Blades (4000)etc.

So, save your money for a bigger SD card, I would say 16 or 32.
