Some games are classics and are worthly of a remake such as Ducktales and Ducktales: Remastered. Others are complete garbage and weren't worth the cartridge or disk they were distributed on.

What game would you like to see remade? Some of you might think I would love Sonic 3 & Knuckles remade in Glorious HD ala Sonic Generations. While I would love to see that or a 3D Classic version, thats not the game I am going with. A game I think should be remade is Sonic the Hedgehog. Not the 1991 version.

I think Sonic '06 should be remade as Sonic the Hedgehog DX because Sonic '06 was an early beta. I have wondered what the game would have it had the proper development time.

Imagine Nintendo releasing Super Mario Galaxy as a Beta. Bugs galore, glitches every few seconds, and Wiimotes being chucked in pure frustration.

Sure, Sonic '06 has a story that had me almost throwing up every other cut scene, but I would be willing to ignore that for Sonic Adventure 3. Did you know that Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Blaze, Rouge and Omega were intended to be playable characters like Sonic, Shadow and Silver? Yes, they were, but this was cut due to time contraits because SEGA demanded the game be finished by the end of 2006. I would want the entire cast playable like they were supposed to be.

If you haven't heard of how long Sonic '06 loading times are, consider yourself lucky, because they might be longer than the entire game itself. Even worse were the physics, because Sonic was even slower than in the previous game, Sonic Heroes.

All I think the game needed was some extra development time, (say a year or two ) and it could have been a decent game, complete with 9 playable characters, improved physics and loading times.

Of course, this remake most likely will never happen, but if it did, digital distribution would be the only possible way. Physical copies of this just wouldn't sell, not with this game's reputation.

I'll probably kept wondering what the game could have been without ever getting a definite answer, but what game(s) do you want to be remade?
