Fire Emblem Awakening (Kakusei)
Since I'm fully aware that the majority of you have obtained this regal masterpiece, I feel as though this was a valid topic for discussion. Here, you are permitted to speak of any particular topic relating to the game, including but not limited to: questions, your favorite content, etc.

Re: Fire Emblem Awakening (Kakusei)
After Chapter 13 Spoilers~
I like how all of the characters that have children have them in the Paralogues. It gives incentive to get everyone married as you get more support, another map and character to play as.
End Spoilers~
Does anyone else find themselves holding L a lot (during a long play session) to skip the fights? I usually do it during the ones I'll just OHKO.

Re: Fire Emblem Awakening (Kakusei)
Depends on the mood I'm in. Sometimes I'll skip it. Other times, I'll watch every battle in detail.
Anyhow, I knew a thread like this was inevitable. I really don't have much to discuss though I did just yesterday start a new file on Hard and Casual. I want to be able to relax a bit more this time through. I have characters that need married this time, some of them are forever alone on my other file.

So who is everybody's favorite character? I'm loving Gangrel's personality, and he's definitely getting there, but
Vaike Time is too much win to pass up.

Re: Fire Emblem Awakening (Kakusei)
I don't use Vaike. He couldn't take a hit and just got underleveled.
I'd have to say that Anna, Chrom, and Virion are my favorites.
On another note, why are things suddingky appearing and disappearing around my game? Enemies are even suddenly dead. Very strange.

Re: Fire Emblem Awakening (Kakusei)
Maybe because you messed with the options.
Anyways, I don't know my #1 favorite, but some of my favorites are Owain, Vaike, and Morgan.

Oh come on! Am I the only one who messes with the setting menus of every single game I get before actually starting the main story?Tricoloryoshi wrote:You can hold L to skip the fights?
Okay, that was a bit specific...

I just realized that R zooms the map.
But I also mess around with options, usually 2-3 hours into the game. :3

Also, remember to change the music tracks whilst fighting risen, unless of course you like the standard music.

Re: Fire Emblem Awakening (Kakusei)
What have you done to your MU? I kept mine a Lv 20 Grandmaster, constantly using Second Seals on Lv 20, then once I beat the game, (along with fully maxing him out during that fight) I used the DLC exclusive Dread Scroll, making my Resistance weak MU the strongest against Magic! I literally have his resistance on par or a little higher than most of his stats, and I also have All Stats +2, with Resistance +10.
The reason I used All Stats +2, was my new Dread Fighter lost 2 on his Magic when he changed from Grandmaster, and this was the only way to get his magic back to full power.

Re: Fire Emblem Awakening (Kakusei)
My MU: Max Stats Dread Fighter with Ignis, Luna, sol,Astra, and Res +10. It is to my knowledge that he cannot be harmed by magic. :3

Re: Fire Emblem Awakening (Kakusei)
I just kept him a Grandmaster, but I'll probably change him to a Dark Knight soon.
Re: Fire Emblem Awakening (Kakusei)
@Happy_Mask So you have your MU's stats max? When the stats are green, that means they are at their max, right?
Re: Fire Emblem Awakening (Kakusei)
My unit maxed out so I changed him to a thief in order to get the lockpick skill. Now he's maxed out strength and kills pretty much anything
If only mt other units were that strong....... well time to grind.

I thought so, but it is one of those things I would rather know, than guess I'm right.
Re: Fire Emblem Awakening (Kakusei)
I'm doing a no death lunatic run. Not as much fun as it sounds. D:
Frederick's weapon breaks almost immediately in chapter 2 as a heads up for anyone trying one.

Re: Fire Emblem Awakening (Kakusei)
What? Are you kidding me? How does that Silver Lance break that early?
Re: Fire Emblem Awakening (Kakusei)
Because in Lunatic Frederick is your best friend~
Until grinding, he is the only one to not get killed by 2 enemies, or even 1. D:

Here's a Lunatic Guide for anyone who wants it.

By the way, I'm right before beating Grima. I keep procrastinating and getting sidetracked. Plus my sister hogs my 3DS all day. I'll probably kick Grima's ass sooner or later, and get it over with.

Just beat the game again today with all the Spotpass prologue characters. Gangrel's ending made me sad.
