Rayman Legends
A game this brilliant needed a thread here.
So, now that the demo is available, even in stores, and there's a free challenge app, how do you like it so far?
The Castle Rock level really was amazing, and outdid any of the original levels to me. Murphy looked fun to use as well, and actually provides a reason to play with a friend, to experience both sides of the game. :3

Re: Rayman Legends
Challenge App is ok, a few flaws, but good, better than I thought. The only thing that's replayably fun in it is Castle Rock imo.
Re: Rayman Legends
Coming from you, that means that I'll love it! Considering how much you disliked the first game~
Re: Rayman Legends
Rayman 3D is nothing like Rayman Origins really. If you guys have never played Origins, what are you waiting for? But anyway, the Challenge App is pretty addicting. The only bad thing is that it makes the wait for the full game even more unbearable

Re: Rayman Legends
I played the Rayman Origins 3DS demo, and I didn't enjoy the gameplay. The physics were off for me.
Re: Rayman Legends
Loved Rayman Origins, loved the Legends demo, love the challenge app and I'll probably love Legends when it comes out. I probably won't get it though...

Knuckles- The 3DS demo was pretty bad. I disliked it too, try the Wii U demo at the stores. Muuccchhh better.
Dash- No, You didn't like Origins I thought.

Re: Rayman Legends
I tried the Origins demo and thought that was pretty bad iirc. I played it, like, once. As Knuckles said, the physics are just wrong. I want to feel like it's a Mario game, but everything's off.
Re: Rayman Legends
So, I've played the Chalenge App some more and here are my thoughts.
Challenge Mode is addicting, unless the challenge is tricky. When it is tricky, it just becomes a chore to play. Regardless, there are some really fun challenges.
Castle Rock seems like a half-completed idea. It's so much fun, but there's only one song, and, at least so far, there hasn't been a single Castle Rock Challenge.
The Murphy Levels are good, a bit boring, but really fun with the Challenges. The only objection I had to the Murphy levels is the touch screen can be off sometimes, for example, if you don't hit the right place, it won't register you as having hit it.
Anyways, those are my thoughts. For free, it's great. Get it while you can.

Re: Rayman Legends
You might wanna recalibrate your touch screen, Murphy is very precise when I play.3Dash wrote:So, I've played the Chalenge App some more and here are my thoughts.

Re: Rayman Legends
I am very much looking forward to Legends. Origins blew me away, and I can't wait to see how Legends will do it.
The challenge app is a lot of fun. My only real complaint at this point is that some of the challenges need to be freshened up a bit because I don't want it to feel like I'm trying the same challenge everyday.
Murphy is also a whole lot more fun to play with than I originally thought. His moves are precise and helpful.

Re: Rayman Legends
