Website Ideas, Future and Forums Thread

Okay, so lately a lot has been rolling around in my head. These are just a few of them that I'm opening for discussion.

nintyonline.forumotion.com Is a very long url (and hard to spell), some may say hard to remember and tedious to type or tell a friend. I've been considering changing the url to a different one. The '.forumotion.com' piece will have to stay though.
Anyway, some ideas include:

nof.forumotion.com

nintendogaming.forumotion.com

nintendo_online_gaming.forumoton.com

If any of these get a huge positive response I'll probably change it. Ideas are welcome.

Another thing is the posting of Articles. It is possible to have a Forum or even another webpage where the Staff here (I guess we are called Staff.... but unpaid) can post articles relating to Nintendo games, current consoles, and more (like say, a day where everyone plays a certain game). The forum would have articles written only by the staff here, and of course could include any pieces of news as well. Things like this thread here could go there as well. If this is wanted I will make it as well.
A Third Idea is an eShop Forum here. It could include both of the eShop's in one, or just a seperate Forum for each system. The reason I'm wary in making one is because I'm not even sure if it is needed at this point in NOF's life. Ideas are open here as well.
Finally, if any of you have an idea you feel could become an important idea or part of the Forum, please say it! Any and all ideas will be considered.

EShop forum is nice, I think you should seperate it into 2 sections.

@Prof.E.Gadd I didn't mean articles like news articles; I'd leave that to the main news sites. It would definitely have news but there is no way to keep up with places like Nintendo Life. So I was referring to articles like things to open discussion and whatnot. And I think we have enough Staves right now, as there is only 31 users.

So I'm going to change the url at some point to nof.forumotion.com, as long as everybody agrees with it.
I've also added an article forum,v and I hope we can get some interesting articles in there. Please note this is not a news forum.

An Infraction Points System would be nice.
Like if there were Any Trolls or Spammers or anything like that (A Person who breaks the rules),Then Infraction Points will build up until they've reached a certain amount of them.
Example:
If you get 200 Infraction Points,The Forum will automatically Ban or Delete the User.

Youngster - Yeah, uh, I don't think we can do that without programming, and, well, I think the only one that frequents here that knows the slightest about programming is Clay, who uses a 3DS, so he can't code.

@Cybi3 I was thinking about that; like maybe a rank. If they do something like win a major Tournament, become a hardcore reviewer or something they could get a rank with banner.

I don't think that is possible here, because of the restrictions on here. We can just easily ban them if needed; which hasn't been yet.
@Dash If you could figure out the coding to set X as a variable, then every time a button is pressed, Y amount was added to X and saved as X, and if X > 200 then they are banned for Z amount of time. :3

Well ,I'm not even sure if that would allow me to do so, as it seems to be mainly image control based on the supplied coding that I can see. So it would take some looking around.

@HappyMask That's my point, there are like 100,000 users that post every few hours. Here it would be every few weeks. >.>
